Meet your local carpenter

Jimmy knew what he wanted to do from a young age. He always enjoyed working alongside his dad and grandpa on home renovation projects and repairs. He started working at the Calgary Stampede as a labourer at 15 years old and took his apprenticeship to become a certified red seal journeyman carpenter right out of high school.

After graduating from trade school, he worked at the Stampede for over a decade. He set up the front gates and entrances during the Stampede exhibition. During the off-season he repaired and maintained the various buildings on the grounds, such as barns, bars, warehouses, offices, entryways, and heritage buildings,

He has completed many side jobs on his time off for friends, family and new clients that all found him through word of mouth.

In 2020 he began working on industrial sites, completing civil concrete work, working alongside engineers, drafters and other trades. He became a superintendent who remained on the tools while also managing the crew.

Jimmy has a deep love and passion for carpentry, and you can often find him smiling when working because he loves clean lines, refined spaces and getting the job done right - the first time.

Has certificates in Forklift operation, bucket truck, fall protection, confined space, skid steer and excavator operation,
