This home still had its original carpet and finishes from when it was built in the 1960s. It was time for a complete refresh!

This renovation included:
• Installing new carpet and underlayment
• Securing the subfloor to the joists to eliminate squeaks and improve stability
• Removing the dated popcorn ceiling and patched it for a clean, modern look

The original wood panelling was transformed with a high-quality stain-blocking primer to conceal the wood grain before being painted, giving the room a bright, updated feel.

To finish the renovation, damaged walls were repaired, new baseboards were installed and painted, and custom wood window casings were added to tie the entire space together.

Sometimes, the biggest transformations come from updating the details while building on a solid foundation.

Living Room Remodel

Farmhouse Renovation

I was hired to do this renovation to help the owners sell their home. They chose neutral finishes to fit the needs of any interested buyer.

This renovation included:

Updates to kitchen: new countertops, backsplash and hardware on cabinets.
Repaired drywall and ceiling. The owners painted the cabinets, walls, doors and trim.
Installed a new vent in the bathroom
New flooring throughout the main level, including the boot room and stairs
Window installed in the living room
New trim and window casing
Hung interior and exterior doors
Lighting and plumbing fixtures were installed
Work that was completed but is not shown: exterior siding repair, drywall and window repairs, took 7 old satelights off the roof, and replaced windows on the shop.

Stair Treads, Risers, and Nosing Replacement

Out with the old, in with the new! ✨

This staircase got a complete refresh by replacing the outdated flooring and worn carpet with durable luxury vinyl plank, creating a seamless look that flows with the rest of the home.

To finish the transformation, the stair stringers were painted to complement the new flooring, and the baseboards on the stairs and lower landing were replaced to match the trim on the main level. The result is a clean, modern staircase that ties the entire space together.

Ceiling Tile Installation

A leak from the floor above left most of these ceiling tiles beyond repair.

The damaged tiles were replaced with new ones, and for added durability, each tile was secured with both adhesive and staples. The result is a clean, professional finish that's built to last.

Custom Door Build

This homeowner had been using a curtain to help keep the space cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter, but they wanted something that looked great while providing a proper seal.

After discussing their vision, I designed and built a custom hallway door that complements the existing feature wall and blends seamlessly with the space. The finished result not only improves energy efficiency but also adds a polished, built-in look to the home.

New Fence Build

This fence was built to contain two big dogs while adding to the esthetic of the home. Made with pressure-treated wood and integrated LED solar lights.

Privacy Wall Build

Privacy, but make it stylish.

Our client wanted to transform their outdoor space into a private oasis, and this natural wood privacy wall did exactly that. Clean lines, beautiful natural tones, and the birds and squirrels enjoy it too!

Pantry Added to Kitchen

A pantry was added to this kitchen using 1×4 spruce and pine to give an earthy feel to the space. This pantry is built to last.

Replaced shingles on garage

The original roof was from 1970 and was beyond its lifespan. Asphalt shingles as well as some sheathing along the eaves.

Replaced shingles on home

The asphalt shingles were replaced on this 4 level spilt home after years of environmental wear. It has an intersecting roof so quality craftsmanship goes a long way.
